Job description

Are you passionate about helping children with autism and their families get the support they need? In this role, you'll promote and coordinate our clinical services to various community organizations and individuals in need.

This role will involve building and maintaining relationships with community partners, coordinating patient referrals, and coordinating outreach events. You'll work closely with the clinical team to ensure that all outreach activities align with our organization's mission and goals.

Responsibilities

  • Addressing in-bound inquiries, including phone calls and email, regarding the company’s ABA services.
  • Assisting in establishing and maintaining relationships with referral sources, parent advocates, influencers, community agencies, pediatric medical groups and other potential sources of new client referrals.
  • Developing an active pipeline of potential new clients, apprising the management and clinical teams of updates on a scheduled basis.
  • Qualifying leads from marketing campaigns and referral sources as potential new client opportunities.
  • Maintaining a working knowledge of the prevalent health insurance programs in the region in order to advise caregivers regarding advantageous programs for financing services and to aid in qualifying potential new clients.
  • Managing the intake process, including the obtaining demographic, insurance, consents and other necessary information and documentation from prospective clients, working with internal benefits coordinators to verify benefits, obtain authorizations and finalize contracts to provide services.
  • Handling public relations activities, including developing strategic relationships with state and community agencies and advocacy groups; attending local/regional events
  • Assisting the Marketing department in the creation of press releases, brochures and other marketing materials.

Education/Experience

  • College degree, Business, Marketing, Public Relations or related field preferred.
  • Customer service training, with high-level understanding of phone and email etiquette.
  • 2-3 years of experience in a business development/sales role with a pharmaceutical, medical device or healthcare services organization.
  • Strong knowledge of the healthcare sector.
  • Some understanding of ABA, early childhood education and/or social services a plus.

HIPAA

Team members are required to adhere to policies and procedures implementing HIPAA requirements for the privacy and security of protected health information. Team members are permitted to use and/or disclose only minimum amount of Protected Health Information necessary to complete assigned tasks. Reports all suspected violation of company’s HIPAA policies or procedures to Human Resources.

Environmental Stewardship and Safety

All team members are responsible for preserving the cleanliness of the interior and exterior of the facility. Team members are expected to keep work and common break spaces tidy and to adhere to infection control protocols and policies.

Team members are expected to adhere to facility safety requirements, report unsafe practices or equipment, and, if applicable, use the appropriate protective equipment as needed.

Depending on role, and during the daily course of duties, team members may have to lift, twist, pull or push. Team members must be able to manage these activities up to 60 lbs.

Any accident or incident must be reported immediately to a member of management for proper recording.
